The location of the hotel was great, with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They understood basic English, which was a relief since we didn't speak any French. the room itself was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely view. the bathroom was clean and well-maintained.
There was no WiFi in the room and the website and bookings. com both needed updating to reflect this.

This hotel offers great value for the price. The rooms are spacious and come with a fantastic view of the Cevennes mountains from the balcony. The staff is friendly and outgoing, providing excellent service. The location is ideal, situated along the road to Saint-Jean-du-Gard and offering easy access to the Porte des Cévennes and the beautiful Gardon valley. The breakfast spread is extensive, with delicious croissants and homemade jams.
No mention of any negatives, everything was perfect.

Over Easter, we had a great stay at a hotel nestled in the mountains. The heated pool and terrace offered fantastic views of the valley, making breakfasts and dinners unforgettable. The staff was always ready to help and prompt in resolving issues. The highlight was enjoying the local dishes.
Wi-Fi was erratic, and the range could be improved for smooth connectivity throughout the hotel. Furthermore, reaching the nearby town and attractions was challenging without a car. We feel that some on-site transportation options could be offered.

I chose this hotel for attending a board meeting because of its excellent meeting facilities and restaurant. The staff was attentive and the location was beautiful. The hotel provided a professional and comfortable setting for our important meeting.
The one service that I missed for my work was a reliable and fast Wi-Fi connection. Unfortunately, the room had no Wi-Fi and I needed internet access for my work.

We enjoyed a beautiful view of the valley from our room and the terrace where we had breakfast. the heated pool and sunbathing terrace were lovely, and there were several little corners and courtyards to relax with a drink. the staff was excellent and made our stay comfortable. We could easily drive down to the river and pass through the nearby camping ground. Homemade yogurt, local cheeses, and freshly squeezed orange juice were some of the breakfast highlights.

I recently had a delightful stay at a charming hotel in the heart of the French countryside. This hotel exceeded my expectations in several ways. the attention to detail was impeccable, from the beautifully designed rooms with jacuzzi and rain dance shower to the warm and welcoming staff. Secondly, the location of the hotel was truly spectacular, with breathtaking views of the Cevennes mountains from the rooms' balconies. It was the perfect spot for a romantic getaway. Lastly, the breakfast was a delicious and satisfying way to start the day, with freshly baked croissants and homemade jams. I also appreciated the affordable prices for dinner in the on-site restaurant, which offered a variety of flavorful dishes.
Absolutely nothing to complain about. Everything was perfect.

We had a fantastic time exploring the beautiful surroundings with our little ones. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, ensuring our family had a memorable stay.
In my wife's opinion, it would be great if the hotel had a small playground or play area for children.

Our stay at this hotel was truly great value for money. The room was fantastic with a balcony offering breathtaking views and a tranquil atmosphere accompanied by beautiful birdsong. The location is impeccable, set off the road at a distance that shields you from any traffic noise, and provides stunning views of the Porte des Cévennes and the Gardon valley. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and made our stay even more enjoyable.
The only improvement that could be made for breakfast would be to offer a wider range of options. It would be great to have espresso available as an alternative to brewed coffee, and some warm breakfast items such as bacon or sausage, as well as vegetables like tomato and lettuce, would be a nice addition.

We were pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of the room, as well as the bathroom and balcony with 2 chairs and a table. The hotel itself is quite big with ample public space, including a spacious bar/lobby area, indoor swimming pool with beautiful views, and a lounge area with big windows. The restaurant also had a nice terrace with great views. The rooms were well-equipped with a balcony, comfortable beds, good soundproofing, and air conditioning. The free WiFi allowed us to stay connected and the breakfast was delicious, especially the fantastic quality croissants and homemade jams. We also enjoyed the flavorful dinner at a reasonable price. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the free parking on the grounds was convenient. The location of the hotel was ideal for exploring the Cevennes and even the Camargue. a very good hotel worth staying at.
